Hibiscus is an ayurvedic herb used for various ailments. Talking about hair care in Ayurveda, hibiscus is known for its various benefits primarily hair growth. Hibiscus is rich in amino acids which is the prime building block of Keratin. Keratin is nothing but a protein that makes up our hair, skin and nails. Keratin helps to nourish and strengthen the hair follicles.
Hibiscus helps to improve the build-up of keratin which increases formation of follicles and thus stimulates new hair-growth.Both the hibiscus flowers and leaves have been used over centuries for hair-growth by Ayurveda.
